Consultation and Planning

An on-site physical walkthrough of the property allows your consultant to:

  • review access to your property for logistics,
  • measure and photograph each space and its connecting space, 
  • get a feel for natural light,
  • identify existing wall fixtures that can be used to hang artwork, 
  • note key colours in flooring and walls so that spaces are enhanced. It is important for planning that we work with what is already in place, 
  • suggest cleanups or damage that needs to be repaired before any staging is started.

A visit to site is also vital for ASPECT Home Staging to see the neighbourhood – where the property is located – coastal, rural, suburbia – all these will influence the pre-sale property styling plan. 

If the real estate agent is in attendance, the on/site visit can provide a good opportunity to discuss the target buyers (e.g. families, professionals, investors). 

At the end of the consultation visit, your consultant will take away their notes and prepare a staging plan for installation. They will work with the team to select the most appropriate furniture and décor for your vacant home staging. When it comes to home staging and property styling, ASPECT will attend to every little detail.

An ASPECT Home Staging consultant is able to do the consultation alone without the property owner or real estate agent being present but this will require some communication to ensure target markets are discussed and considered before any staging plan commences.
